How to Crop Shiprocket Shipping Labels From a PDF (Free, No Signup)
If you ship through Shiprocket, your label PDF isn't just a label — it's the shipping label stacked on top of the tax invoice, and sometimes a return label too, all on one A4-sized page per order. Print that straight to a 4×6 thermal roll and you'll either waste rolls printing invoice text, or spend your morning trimming labels with scissors.
Here's a faster way to pull out just the label, cleanly, across every page, without installing anything.
Why Shiprocket's PDF isn't ready for a thermal printer
Shiprocket batches your selected orders into a single manifest or label PDF, and each page is a full-size document combining the courier label, the tax invoice, and (for COD or specific couriers) extra text blocks. That's useful for your records, but it isn't shaped for a 4×6 roll, and it isn't shaped for multiple labels per A4 sheet either — something has to crop it first.
How to crop Shiprocket labels online
The Shiprocket label cropper on this site reads your downloaded PDF entirely on your device — nothing is uploaded to a server — and detects where the label ends and the invoice begins on every page automatically. In practice:
- Download your label or manifest PDF from the Shiprocket dashboard as usual.
- Open the Shiprocket cropper and drop the file in.
- Choose Thermal printer if you print on a 4×6 roll, or A4 sheet if you want several labels arranged on one page.
- Review the auto-detected crop box on a couple of pages — it adjusts for orders where the invoice section is taller.
- Download the cropped PDF and print it directly.
Why one fixed crop box doesn't work across a batch: Shiprocket manifest pages vary in height depending on the courier partner, COD vs prepaid text, and how many line items an order has. A single crop rectangle applied to the whole file will cut some labels short and leave invoice text stuck to others — per-page detection is what keeps every label the same size regardless of what's beneath it.
Batching labels from multiple couriers
If you ship through more than one courier partner via Shiprocket, or you're combining Shiprocket labels with orders from another marketplace, printing one PDF per batch is faster than opening each courier's file separately. See our guide on combining multiple order label PDFs into one file before you send anything to the printer.
A note on printer settings
A correctly cropped label can still print wrong if your printer's scaling is off. Set the print dialog to Actual size (not "Fit to page") on a thermal roll, and confirm the paper size matches your roll (commonly 4×6 in / 10×15 cm). If labels are coming out blank, cut off or oversized even after cropping, check our thermal printer troubleshooting guide.
